BOOKING

To secure your booking we require full payment within 5 working days of sending your invoice. 

We do not hold dates as we work on a first-come, first-served policy. Your booking is not guaranteed until we receive your payment.

All quotes are valid for 3 months & we reserve the right to increase the original quote if the booking is postponed 3 months or more.

Please be aware that we are a small business and bookings are subject to availability. 

COVID-19

In light of the current situation regarding Covid-19, we are implementing extra safety precautions to prevent any transmission of covid-19.

For our own safety, & of course your safety too, we will be wearing a mask & gloves upon arrival if setting up a grazing display (gloves are used as standard for the setting up anyway) & we will not enter any homes or venues without these. And we request that we do not come into contact with anyone at the location of the set-up.

We always sanitise the area before setting up any graze, ordinarily, we would be washing our hands upon arrival but as we will be arriving in gloves we will not wash our hands as this will actually risk more cross contamination so we will change gloves before the setup, during the setup & upon leaving.

If however yourself or any of your household/workplace were to display any symptoms of covid-19 at all prior to the booking we would not enter your premises & we would deliver platters instead or allow a transfer of date with no restrictions. All quotes are valid for 3 months & we reserve the right to increase the original quote if the booking is postponed for 3 months or more.

We will check in with you 24 hours prior to make sure it is safe to go ahead. If the booking is cancelled due to Covid-19 symptoms being present we regret that 100% of the payment will be retained as we will not be able to fill your booking slot at late notice & we will have already purchased all of the food & foliage for the booking which would then have to be donated to a food bank.

For any restrictions on gatherings or events imposed by the government due to Covid-19, we will allow you to transfer your booking with no date restrictions or allow a credit to use at a later date, if you decide to cancel instead of transferring the booking then we will offer a 50% refund.

If however, we cannot fulfil your booking due to contracting covid-19 ourselves then we will offer a full refund and help you find a recommended alternative caterer.

CANCELLATIONS & SURCHARGES

If you cancel your booking we will charge a 50% cancellation fee if we do not have 12 weeks’ notice as we will have turned away other bookings in order to fulfil yours. 

We do not offer full refunds unless we are unable to fulfil the booking. However, we do allow date changes if notified 12 weeks or more in advance. If you cancel (if unrelated to Covid-19) within 1 week of your booking we regret that 100% of the payment will be retained as we will not be able to fill your booking slot at late notice & we will have already purchased all of the food & foliage for the booking which would then have to be donated to a food bank.

GRAZING BOXES & PLATTERS 

All products must be refrigerated & kept flat on delivery if not consumed straight away & must be consumed within 48 hours of delivery. 

Our responsibility for the food ends at the point of delivery.

Grazing Boxes: Feeds 2 grazers as a generous meal or 4 as entree

Platters: Feeds 6/8 grazers as a generous meal or 10 as entree

BY PLACING AN ONLINE ORDER FOR A GRAZING BOX OR PLATTER YOU AGREE TO BEING WITHIN OUR LISTED KENT/LONDON POSTCODE DELIVERY AREA. 

YOUR DELIVERY WILL ARRIVE BETWEEN 8 AM-4 PM, IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR PLATTERS BEFORE 12 PM ON YOUR PREFERRED DELIVERY DATE PLEASE CONTACT US TO SEE IF WE CAN ACCOMMODATE THE ORDER THE DAY BEFORE AS WE DO NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY PRE 12 PM.

IF NOBODY IS HOME TO ACCEPT THE DELIVERY ANSWERS OUR DELIVERY DRIVER WILL LEAVE THE GRAZING BOX OUTSIDE OF THE PROPERTY & WILL NOTIFY THE RECIPIENT USING THE NUMBER PROVIDED BY YOU.

FABULOUSLY FED’S RESPONSIBILITY OF GRAZING BOXES & PLATTERS & THE CONTENTS ENDS AT THE POINT OF DELIVERY TO THE ADDRESS SUPPLIED BY YOU.

WE REGRET THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO ALTER PLATTER CONTENTS & INGREDIENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE DUE TO STOCK DELIVERY INTERRUPTIONS & SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES.

BY PLACING AN ORDER YOU HEREBY AGREE TO OUR TERMS OF SERVICE.

GRAZING TABLE SET UPS & DISPLAYS:

ON THE DAY.

We need to know the start time of your event so that we can have the food ready 1/2 an hour before your guests arrive. On the day the unloading and set up will take approximately 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on the size of your booking. We must be able to pull up outside to unload our cool boxes & kit & have access to parking for the duration of the set-up.

We do require an appropriate-sized table or surface on which to set up the graze as we do not provide tables, but we can work with whatever surface you have so get creative! And if you have nothing suitable don't worry, let us know and we can recommend a trusted hire company for you.

Our grazing table food is laid out on food-safe paper to create a barrier between the surface and the food so we really can use any surface you have! Just make sure it is sturdy enough for all of the food and that your guests can reach!

Unless a Feasting Menu is chosen, we do not require a kitchen as we arrive with the food prepared and it is kept cool in professional catering coolers whilst transporting it to your location. Once the food is set up we tidy our things away and leave you and your guests to dig in, we do not stay to serve the food and we do not provide staffing for events.

The food can stay out for 4 hours maximum, in accordance with food hygiene and safety the food must be disposed of after 4 hours. We are not responsible for any food consumed after the 4-hour window.

TABLE REQUIREMENTS

Fabulously Fed does not provide tables unless a discussion and request has been made. We will inform you at the time of booking what size table we require to set up your graze. Fabulously Fed will source and provide if this service has been requested.

A suitable table must be provided at the venue away from direct heat & sunlight. Fabulously Fed will not be liable for any circumstances, costs, liabilities or claims arising out of a failure to adhere to the table requirements.

DELIVERY AND SET-UP

We are based in Mid Kent & travel all over the southeast including London, Surrey, East Sussex & the surrounding areas, we do however have a minimum order of £250 outside of Kent postcodes (not including the delivery charge). 

Delivery is charged at .50p per mile. 

On the day we do need to unload at the location so therefore must be able to stop outside. We also need to have access to parking during the set-up. If there is no parking available you must inform us at the time of booking so that we can find a solution. Please note this may incur an extra charge if in a central city location as if we are paying £40 an hour to park its means we will be out of pocket. If we are not notified of parking restrictions and are forced to park at our own cost, we will invoice you for the additional charges. We are not responsible for the late delivery if parking is a problem that we were not expecting and we were not notified of.

We do require an appropriate-sized table or surface on which to set up the graze as we do not provide tables. Our food is laid out on food-safe paper to create a barrier between the surface and the food. The table or surface must be in a cool shaded area away from fires, radiators & direct sunlight.

Unless a Feasting Menu has been agreed upon, we do not require kitchen access as we arrive with the food ready prepared and it is kept cool whilst transporting it to your location in professional coolers. Once the food is set up we tidy our things away and leave, we do not stay to top up the table or to serve food.

The food can stay out for 4 hours maximum, in accordance with food hygiene and safety guidelines the food must be disposed of after 4 hours. We do not come back to clear the food away unless requested at the time of booking, please note this will incur an extra charge.

Should a takedown service be required, please allow approximately 1 hour to tidy, clean and clear. Please note that we will return within the 4-hour time slot to takedown in accordance with food hygiene & safety, no later.

We will clear away the food but we do not clean the surrounding area, sweep the floor or clean anything else unrelated to our service of providing food. Bin bags are provided but disposal of any rubbish is not & this will be left for the venue to dispose of. Our takedown service will incur an additional charge.

FOOD & PRODUCE & ALLERGEN INFORMATION

Please be aware all tables & platters are a selection of high-quality ingredients but exact menu items are subject to availability and what is in season.

It is your responsibility to inform us upon booking of any dietary requirements. While we make every effort to accommodate such requirements, this may not always be possible. Pricing may also vary due to the costs of alternative/specialist ingredients.

It is also your responsibility to inform us of any food allergies or intolerances well in advance, Fabulously Fed will not be liable for any circumstances that arise where an allergy or intolerance has not been made aware to us.

Our food is not prepared in an allergen-free environment. While we may be able to label items containing possible allergens ahead of time on request, there is a risk of cross-contamination due to the very nature of grazing catering. 

All food should be consumed within 4 hours of setting up after which Fabulously Fed will not be accountable for the food. Fabulously Fed is not responsible for the removal and disposal of food waste post-event.
